The ACS800 has the following superior performance:
Operation during power outage - The ACS800 will continue to operate using the kinetic energy of the rotating motor. As long as the motor rotates and generates energy, the ACS800 will continue to operate.
Zero speed full torque - The motor driven by ACS800 can obtain the rated torque of the motor at zero speed without requiring feedback from optical encoder or speed measuring motor. The vector controlled frequency converter can only achieve full torque output near zero speed.
Starting torque -
The precise torque control provided by DTC enables ACS800 to provide controllable and stable maximum starting torque. The maximum starting torque can reach 200% of the rated motor torque.
Automatic start - The automatic start characteristics of ACS800 exceed the performance of general frequency converters for jump start and integral start. Because ACS800 can measure the state of the motor within a few milliseconds, it can start quickly under any conditions. And vector controlled frequency converters need to be greater than yes.
Magnetic flux optimization -
In optimization mode, the motor flux is automatically adapted to the load to improve efficiency while reducing motor noise. Thanks to magnetic flux optimization, the overall efficiency of the frequency converter and motor can be improved by 1% to 10% based on different loads.
Magnetic flux braking -
ACS800 can provide fast enough deceleration by increasing the magnetic field of the motor. The ACS800 continuously monitors the status of the motor and does not stop monitoring during magnetic flux braking. Magnetic flux braking can also be used to stop the motor and change from one speed to another. The DC braking used by other brands of frequency converters cannot achieve this function.
Accurate speed control - The dynamic speed error of ACS800 is% s in open-loop applications and% s in closed-loop applications. And the vector control frequency converter is greater than% s in open loop and% s in closed loop. The static accuracy of the ACS800 frequency converter is%.
Precision torque control - Dynamic torque step response time, which can reach 1-5ms in open-loop applications, while vector controlled frequency converters require 10-20ms in closed-loop applications and 100-200ms in open-loop applications.
Dangerous speed range setting - a function that allows the motor to avoid running at a certain speed or speed range, such as avoiding mechanical resonance points (bands). The ACS800 can be set with 5 different speed points and ranges, and the motor can accelerate or decelerate according to the acceleration or deceleration integral curve when passing through the dangerous speed range.
